Cloudless skies again with the wind up to its usual tricks to keep eleven of us on our toes. Stuart and his wife came up from Auckland again and he bought his son’s .308 up to sight in over the 500/600 distance and he was on the paper straight away. He is coming back for the next shoot. Andrew used Phil’s rifle to have a go at 500 and 900 and is keen to buy his own rifle so he has been getting plenty of advice on what to buy etc. Julian turned up with his new 6.5 Creedmore rifle and used my bipod and sandbag and he has plenty of potential once he does some more load development. Derricks ammo had a hissy fit so he didn’t shoot 800/900 but his mate Ian had a good day. Paul and Jo and Cathy and Phil fought it out in the couples battle. Iain and I won the FO and FTR and set up and pulled down the targets. Thanks to the Tylers for getting in the boundary flags. For those that know Murray Graham, he passed away on Saturday.
